Is Facebook the future or past?

I’m been struggling with my beliefs on social media. My frustrations resulted from the relentless assault against Twitter carried on by self-proclaimed “internet gurus”. They continue using a robotic system of creating fake accounts while using photos of cleavage with the hopes of pushing badly produced products onto unaware users.

It’s clear to me – Twitter is a sinking ship and I’m swimming for the shore.

So, while Twitter is going under, where do we turn? Facebook.

Facebook is virtually an untapped market with over 700 million people from all different ages, technical abilities, and interest – users eager for information.

A gold mine.

So, how do marketers reach these folks? Do they continuing using techniques of the past or begin looking for new solutions as we enter a new age in internet marketing?
